On our way out of town we stopped to have our picture taken with the controversial Lincoln Loon”. This giant roadside attraction was added to the town after our last visit home so I had never seen it in person although I have heard (oh how I have HEARD) about it from the locals.
Many of the townspeople think it blocks the view of the lake.
Eh. They have a point.
Read more about the loon below. They have a whole festival that surrounds it although that makes the locals crazy too because they renamed the existing “homecoming” festival. Lol.
Anyway……here we are with the giant loon.
